What is Knit-wits?
Knitwits is Swarthmore College's knitting club. (Rebellious souls who wish to crochet, quilt, or embroider are also welcome.) The club meets once a week in Parrish Parlours to knit, talk, and share knitting knowledge. We even take pictures of completed projects. Spring 2003 meetings are on Thursday afternoons at 4:30 PM.
What can Knit-wits do for me?
Knit-wits will teach you to knit (or purl or cable), lend you needles, give you yarn, and lend you patterns. If you want to attend a knitting workshop somewhere else, the club will fund part of the cost.
Where can I buy some more yarn?
Sophie's Yarns in downtown Philadelphia is a favorite yarn source; the shop also offers knitting workshops. You can also buy yarn online.
