death by flan
mix all but sugar in a bowl, then melt the sugar to caramel consistency. this is trick, and could take some time... try adding water to the sugar, and it may just dry out again, but eventually it'll all melt. just don't burn it. waste of sugar. then use the caramel to line several porcelain cups and let cool. put the mix in cups, put cups in a pan with 1 inch water, and cook at 350 for 1 hour or until centers are dry. flip upside down on a plate and delight in flan rapture.- 1 can sweetened condensed milk - 1 can evaporated milk - 2 eggs - 1 tsp vanilla - 1 1/2 - 2 cups sugarvariations: take a blow torch to the tops - creme bruleé; doust in bacardi 151, light - lodge flambeé style
