PROFILE of SUELLEN

College: Swarthmore, PA

Size of my College: less than 1400 students (yes, it's true that this is a small and sheltered community)

What I like about it: academics, challenging

What is irritating about Swarthmore: academics, they don't always allow you to breathe and have a life, but most of all, they tolerate anti-Christian bias - Swatties aren't as tolerant as they say they are; I don't understand postmodern theater (and I really love theater!)

They say you're defined by what you're not, so this is all I'm not (apparently): alcoholic, druggie, atheist, athlete, tree-hugger, short, big, blond, nationalist, fascist, career-driven, monolingual, anorexic, baby, old woman, little girl, academic

What I am: just a normal freak trying to get through college without regret

Major: learning. Seriously! That's my everyday as well as academic interest - how people learn. I'm also interested in the study of people. Mom says when I was young and my parents took me to restaurants, I used to go from table to table staring at people. Hence, I'm naturally a Sociology, Anthropology and Education special major.

Future directions: Christian missions work. I don't know where exactly, yet. Eventually, I'll probably go to Seminary too.

My own learning style (This might seem like a whacky category to put in, but as I said before, the fact that people learn differently fascinates me): experiential, visual, global and analytic, preference for challenge
