Near the end of this past semester, I ran for Student Council. Not to brag or anything, but the campaign of posters that I unleashed on the campus was unprecedented in its amount of absurdity. It thoroughly commanded the respect of my peers who were sick and tired of the same old negativity coming out of the fat-cat interests. It also earned me a derisive mention in the school newspaper. I ended up winning the election, 286-204. Before I get too cocky, though, our race got about 50-70 less votes than the other races, suggesting that a lot of people hated the both of us and chose "None of the above."
