Mont Blanc

Linus (the guy to the right) organized a trip to Mt. Blanc for a bunch of us summer students. This was my group, after we took the first cable car up.

It was pretty cool to be at the same level as the clouds.

After sitting around for a while, we went on a hike to a nearby lake.

Then we went hiking on a glacier, which gave us some pretty amazing views:

We then met up with some of the other students and took the second cable car up to where it was cold and snowy -- in July!

After dinner, most people went home, but everyone in the car I was riding in was up for dinner in Chamonix. We went to this great little place called Poco Loco, where for 8 euros I got a huge burger, an apple juice, and a chocolate and Grand Marnier crepe. Mmm.
