An Evening of Regression in Geneva

One Friday evening I went into Geneva with Jeff, Gordon, and Corry. Here we are on one of the touristy streets.

Corry and Jeff, posing with cute European cars.

We were amused by this graffiti in Geneva.

While we were deciding where to get dessert, Jeff almost got his head blown off.

We went back to our favorite cafe where they make the perfect flaky pastry crust.

Then, after an unsuccessful attempt to find some chocolate fondue, we began to play on the nearby toys. Too much sugar?

I hadn't been on a tire swing in years.

We briefly made friends with a cute little French kid who came to play with us in this jungle gym.

There weren't any little kids playing on the swings in the park, so we decided to give it a whirl.

We found Chris playing chess down in the park. He started playing this other game with Jeff. Here, Chris is happily waving while Jeff ponders his next move.

Corry and I wanted to join in the fun. Neither of us had played chess in years, and we enjoyed doing silly things without anyone criticizing us. Except for this one French guy who walked by and pointed out that you're supposed to play with a white square in the lower right.
