Paris with Jeff

My brother Jeff and I met up for a weekend in Paris. He was taking classes at the London School of Economics, so Paris was conveniently halfway between us.

Saturday morning we went to look around Notre Dame.

Wow.

There were a lot of beautiful carvings and atworks inside.

We had a gorgeous view of the city from Sacre Coeur.

Me, standing in front of the Sacre Coeur Basillica.

One of the cute streets in the Montmartre district.

Jeff, in front of the Moulin Rouge.

Us, by Les Invalides.

I hadn't been to the Eiffel tower my last time in Paris.

The view from the Trocadero.

The sun setting behind Notre Dame and the Seine as Jeff and I walk to the Latin Quarter, where we had dinner at a lovely creperie.

Sunday morning we went to a museum in the Marais area that focused on French history. It had a lot of art, furniture, old archeological stuff, etc. And a lot of French captions. Here I am in the courtyard.

Me, outside the back of the Pompidou Centre. It had started to drizzle. :(

Jeff and I outside the front of the Pompidou Centre. It had stopped raining. :)

We waited a very long time for a metro here.

Cool statue, huh?

I liked the juxtaposition here.

We walked by ND again on our way somewhere.

Jeff and I in the Latin Quarter. I think this is part of the Sorbonne.
