My first introduction to Source was a strange and cool little postcard that I happened to get, at the Urbana student missions conference. From that, God somehow took me into being a summer intern with them, and becoming a part of their vibrant and passionate community.
I interned with Source during the summer of 2004, from the beginning of June to early August. It was amazing, a life-changing summer of living in community and seeing how God works in us. Seeing some of the things that He has for different parts of our culture, that the church usually skirts around.
We did a whole lot of stuff, working from about 12 until late at night. Source Ministries has a vision to be a friend and a voice to the youth of the city, to people all across the spectrum, in art, in music, and much more. They focus on outreach, transitional housing, and discipleship, and run the Fallout Urban Art Center in Minneapolis.
In January 2005, a large group of us went down to Florida to serve with the Clark Family, being part of the Rainbow gathering for a while, and then doing some concerts and prayer in Ybor City.
