The Printer's Jammed!!!
No Problem
Normal Procedure (repeat 3X if necessarry)

Turn the Printer Off

Open the Printer up and remove any excess paper

Close the Printer and Turn it on
-
Put the Coversheet in the overhead folder
-
Watch the printout emerge, freed by your superior dispatching skill
| This should solve most problems
|
If that doesn't work...
-
Turn off Printer
-
Pull out Paper Supply and make sure it isn't too full (>90%)
-
Also make sure the paper is neatly placed into tray; i.e. not over the
metal tab on the left side of the tray.

Talk nicely to the printer
-
Turn the printer back on and you're all set

Second to Last resort

Go to the Spooler Mac
-
Go to File -> Setup...
-
Release the Printer
-
Once it reappears, recapture it.

These steps takes care of any problems the printer might be having with the
document itself; sometimes documents will cause jams - either by being too big,
or just plain being funky.

Last resort
|

Go to the Spooler
-
delete the top document from the jamming printer's queue
-
Go to File -> Setup...
-
Release the Printer
-
Once it reappears, recapture it.

and call one of them, ask the consultant for help, or find a CC staffer
