Classical Music for Dummies - you HAVE to check this page out. it's really good for anyone who wants to start a collection of classical music as well as for those who already have.

Classical Composers - this guy made links to almost every classical composer known; very cool, very extensive....

Russian Composers - i'm an extremely big Russian composer fan - Shostakovich and Prokofiev are definitely at the top of my list. Check out their violin concertos, I recommend Maxim Vengerov's CD that won the 1995 Grammaphone Record of the Year award. He plays the both concertos (no.1) with the London Symphony Orchestra and they are so great!

Speaking of Maxim Vengerov, this is when he will be performing next in the New York area.

John Corigliano - this guy writes some cool stuff; he's a contemporary composer from New York.

The Internet Viola Society -well i don't play viola, but i do have one and some day i'll learn how to read alto clef, I swear I'll get around to it Rachel :-)!; anyway, some of my good friends are violists so i guess this is my way of including them in my homepage ;-).
