Magnolias

The magnolia collection includes over 60 different selections. Two of the outstanding specimens are the early blooming anise magnolia, Magnolia salicifolia, declared a state champion for its size, and Magnolia virginiana australis 'Henry Hicks', an evergreen selection of the sweetbay magnolia, with fragrant flowers in the summer.
