Although I grew up in a cozy house I still adore in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Swarthmore is definately where I identify my home with in current times. I stress, work, relax, and laugh here, all in large quantities, as I pursue a major that has so many applicants the department is trying to avoid gaining more! I will not be foiled, however, and plan yet to walk across the beautiful stage to recieve a diploma from them.My time this year is shared between my beautiful single in Dana, with it's super comfy floor pillows and lovely window seat, Cornell, where I work the desk in addition to occupying the table in the basement by the stairs, and Martin 309, where I'm working on an independent project with baker's yeast.
What really makes Swarthmore my home, though, is all the awesome people that I've met here. The Quad is always a great source of fun and procrastination, with movies to watch and hot chocolate to drink. Some Swat friends can be found on the net, whiles others simply rock my world in person. They smile and laugh with(at) me, and listen to my stories, which as many will be quick to tell you, is no small feat, and all embody part of the person I'm trying to become.
