One More Year!

We took a lot of photos during the senior year, but if you've got any great pix of our classmates, send 'em in and we'll put 'em up here!

Senior Week

Senior Week, held the week before Graduation, is sort of like Orientation in reverse. With classes and exams but a distant memory, you can finally just chill out, meet or renew ties with classmates, and enjoy Swat for all that it's worth! Traditionally there are a number of events on campus, including the Senior Dinner and Green Bottle, as well as many off-campus trips sponsored by your class officers, such as outings to Philly or the beach.

Class Gift

The gift is the Class of 2003’s way of leaving its mark on the campus and the community. It’s not a gift to the administration or to the officers, but to future generations of Swatties who will benefit from our contribution. And finally, it’s a gift to our class – something that we can all enjoy and gather ‘round for years to come.

All in all, our class raised $2393.08 and earned $1415.01 in matching funds, for a grand total of $3808.09. This money will go towards a) 4 Adirondack chairs and a bench for the new Science Center outdoor patio, complete with a plaque recognizing our class, b) a donation to the Peace Initiatives project to cover supplies and the artists' expenses, c) two communal bookcases in Sharples, placed in memory of Eric Johnson, and d) a donation to the College's Annual Giving Fund.

Senior Class Memorabilia

Pub Nite

Pub Nite is our #1 fundraiser, with all profits going directly towards Senior Week. In fact, it's just about the best bargain on campus, considering that the small price of admission goes right back to you in the form of great Senior Week events. So check it out each and every week to support your class -and- your post-exam entertainment.

Also, we can always use help running Pub Nite, from drivers to DJs, so if you're interested in getting involved, or just want to suggest a theme, drop us a line at officers03@sccs.swarthmore.edu.

Assassins

Senior Class Assassins unfolded over two terrifying weeks this November, during which time no ass was truly safe. When it was all said and done, there was no clear victor, but Kellam Conover, Pam Lavallee, and Megan Moerke should each be commended for surviving until the final, decisive moment. And Pam bested all other players by recording 11 kills during the course of the game. To relive the excitement and fear of the inaugural contest, check out Jeremy's daily updates below. And let us know if you'd like to see an encore game held this spring.

Misc. Events

When not performing Karaoke at Pub Nite or grabbing asses in Assassins, the officers were busy fund-raising for the class. And not just through some wimpy bake-sale either. The officers made Boo Bags on Halloween (Renee loves her candy!), delivered care packages for the holidays, and brought the sweet, sweet goodness of Krispy Kreme donuts to hungry students preparing for exams in the libraries.
